Little hope for Dream Homes’ buyers, The Free Lance-Star, October 30, 2007.

Invotex Managing Director Raymond J. Peroutka, Jr. appointed Receiver for Liberty Trade International investment scheme.

Invotex’s expertise in state and federal receiverships involves regulated entities including property and casualty insurance companies, brokerage companies, insurance agencies, surety and fidelity bonding companies, and health maintenance organizations (HMOs), among others.

We specialize in the control, management and recovery issues associated with complex regulated receiverships. Having worked closely with insurance commissioners and securities commissioners as well as guaranty associations in many states, Invotex is uniquely qualified to act as the Receiver or Deputy Receiver or provide discrete services to the Receiver or Deputy Receiver.

Much of Invotex’s success in managing receiverships is a result of the immediate security controls put into place when working with a troubled entity. When there are criminal investigations pending, Invotex works collaboratively with law enforcement officials. We also strive to maintain security and confidentiality as well as manage the receivership in the manner that is most beneficial to the creditors.

Some of the specific services we provide in a receivership include:

  • Take control of books and records
  • Institute internal controls
  • Secure and inventory physical assets
  • Recover and secure data
  • Identify owned vs. leased financial assets
  • Identify assets needed to support ongoing operations
  • Investigate and pursue asset recovery actions
  • Investigate and pursue recoveries against professionals
  • Solicit and adjudicate Proofs of Claim
  • Seek court approval for value of the claims
  • Work with and coordinate with State insurance guaranty funds and other third party payors
  • Financial reporting to the court, creditors and taxing authorities
