State insurance departments are preparing for risk-focused examinations, which will be required on all exams beginning in 2010. Whether a state is leading the charge with pilot examinations and on-site training, dipping their toes in the water, or watching from the sidelines, Invotex can help.
Invotex has been an active and vocal contributor of ideas and comments to the NAIC throughout the development of the risk-focused approach by its Risk Assessment Working Group. Post-development, Invotex has been the leader in bringing forth insights from “Lessons Learned” during early implementation efforts in the field for sharing and discussion in departmental forums and through meetings and publications of the Society of Financial Examiners.
Our consultants have rich and varied experiences in helping states implement the new risk-focused approach in the field, providing on-site training and support, as well as technical support in the critical areas of information technology (IT), actuarial, investment and reinsurance. Our consultants have been involved in examinations of life, health and property/casualty companies of all sizes and including some of the industry’s largest insurers.
