A director with Invotex Group, Timothy Foley has 21 years of insurance industry experience comprising both insurance company positions as well as consulting to the insurance industry and includes expertise in U.S., Canadian and U.K. regulations. Mr. Foley’s insurance industry experience includes serving in industry positions as Controller, Divisional CFO, Director of Financial Reporting and Budget & Cost Officer. Mr. Foley also consulted to the insurance industry as part of Big Four accounting firm’s life insurance practice and as an independent contractor. Mr. Foley has expertise in the areas of financial reporting, financial systems, internal controls, earnings analysis, budgeting, cost accounting and management reporting. Also, he is experienced with U.S. GAAP, U.S. SAP, Canadian GAAP, Canadian OSFI reporting, IFRS and U.K. GAAP. Further, he has experience in the adoption of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements in the U.S., from both the industry and the public accounting points of view. He also has experience and exposure to the associated Canadian and European programs relating to the assessment of compliance with regulatory guidelines. |
