Les Hatley |
Les Hatley is a director with Invotex Group and serves in the firm’s insurance practice. In that role, he is responsible for the providing of services to our insurance clients, including state insurance regulators. He has more than 30 years experience with the insurance industry, in senior operating and financial positions, and in serving state insurance regulators as head of the NAIC’s Financial Services Division. During his seven years with the NAIC, which included two years as director of the Financial Analysis Division, his responsibilities included solvency surveillance of nationally significant property/casualty and life/health insurance companies, development and maintenance of automated surveillance systems, consultation with insurance regulators on troubled or potentially troubled companies and development and presentation of financial analysis seminars. In that capacity, he supervised the writing and publication of the NAIC Financial Analysis Handbook and Using the NAIC Financial Analysis Solvency Tools; and guided the development and implementation of automated solvency tools including a ratio based prioritization system and company profiles. Mr. Hatley has an additional 15 years experience in senior financial positions at major insurance companies, covering lines of business from life and health, property/casualty, and warranty. These insurance companies included two stock companies, two mutuals and one risk retention group. |
