Mr. Kass is a managing director with Invotex Group. He has more than 20 years of consulting and management experience including the delivery of financial services and asset management in such diverse industries as insurance, manufacturing, health and human services, real estate and construction. This experience has been in both the public and private sectors working with both profit seeking as well as non-profit organizations. Mr. Kass has played a major role in the reorganization of acquired entities and management and liquidation of secured and unsecured assets for the benefit of insurance companies, banks and other financial institutions. He has managed the preservation and sale of fixed assets and collection of obligations valued in the millions of dollars for these entities as well as state regulators and bankruptcy trustees. He has been responsible for coordinating the activities of Invotex Group as receiver for community-based mental health facilities, insurance agencies, private, non-profit foundations and apartment complexes. He has been responsible for investigating and supervising completion of numerous bonded construction projects at federal facilities and other governmental and private sites as well as controlling and managing in support of litigation a large volume of construction documents on other projects. In addition, he has assisted the United States Attorney’s Office and the Maryland Attorney General’s Office in numerous investigations involving bank fraud, money laundering and the improper use of federal and state funds. |
