As a Managing Director of Invotex Group, Edward A. Gold provides liability and damages analysis in complex commercial disputes involving intellectual property, antitrust, breach of contract and discrimination issues. Dr. Gold has nearly 20 years of economic consulting experience and has been designated as an expert in matters pending in Federal and State courts, the ITC and arbitration proceedings and has testified in various forums. In this role, he develops complex econometric and/or financial models and communicates his methodology and conclusions in a manner understandable by lay-persons.
Dr. Gold also advises clients on non-litigation matters. He is one of the nation’s most experienced Monitors. Dr. Gold has been appointed multiple times by the Federal Trade Commission for such assignments as the Proctor and Gamble / Gillette merger. He has also monitored divestiture obligations for the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office. He has led the compliance testing of numerous business operations including anti-kickback regulations, divestiture obligations, RAND licensing, Truth in Savings disclosures and fair lending practices. He also has extensive experience valuing intellectual property assets, advising on transaction strategies and directly participating in negotiations in the context of licensing, sale and joint venture. |
